She had a SNACK in her drawers!

Our Sunday runs from the Fairhope pier are always "fun", usually a time to catch up with everyone with discussions ranging from serious training topics to our "tongue in cheek" pokes at each other as well as those who participate in other "athletic" endeavors. ;D
This past Sunday was no exception, but the run started out on a high note when one of our female runners (we will call her "Jane" Doe) cracked us all up to the point that we almost had to stop in mid-run from laughing so hard.
We were barely into our first mile when I noticed that "Jane" kept fiddling around with her shorts which prompted me to ask the question..."So Jane, are your shorts bunching up or something?" Her reply was...."My mini-snickers fell out of my pocket, so now I've got a snack in my drawers!". At this point the rest of us look around at each other with raised eyebrows and practically explode with laughter! Of course watching "Jane" turn three shades of red only added to the "moment".
Truly a classic start to a great Sunday morning run.Which just goes to show, you never know what you might miss by not showing up on Sundays! ;D

HAHA Sam told me all about the snickers shorts. Wish i could've been there. Lookin forward to being back to speed Saturday. I'm doing the 5k and depending on how I feel maybe a sub 18.
