See something about the message board that you think can be improved? Think I shouldn't quit my day job? Post here.

You think we can do a photo section? Many other club teams have them and they look pretty neat. You can post some of the pictures from our races like Moonlight mile or the muddy run you guys did. You can also post McGuire's. I didn't get to see any of the one's from last year.

more than a suggestion i am just wondering about this...would it be possible to put some sort of a training log on here...i have been using the same online training log since college but recently they have been having problems with the site being down...i really don't want to lose all of my logged runs but i have a feeling they are probably gonna eventually lose the site because the guy who started it seems to have lost interest...if it is possible for us to have our own it would be cool because then we could all view each others logs and see what each other are doing...just wondering???

The electronic world is really neat but if you don't want to loose your log data, I'd suggest doing it the old-fashioned way - record it in a notebook. Even with scientific data, we still retain hard-copies due to the changes in software over time and the possibility of loosing electronic files to a system crash. You can always look back at hardcopies (barring flood or fire ). I have training logs dating back to 1978. It's really rare for me to look back that far (I took them all with me when we evacuated for H.Ivan and H.Katrina ) but it is nice to be able to review stuff from 2-3 years ago without having to worry about whether the website where I recorded the info. is still up. I keep some info. in an Excel spreadsheet now and my HRM came with software for logging data on the computer but I still use a spiral bound notebook for historical purposes.

The capabilities of this site are pretty limited. A training log would require a database which Proboards doesn't offer.
I could host one on a different site and put a link here. If I matched up the scheme here, you really wouldn't know you were at another site, other than the difference in the url. The only problem is that we'd be at the mercy of another hosting site, and they tend to go under quite often.
