Haven't run a Marathon in these yet, but did a faster paced 9-miler in them. These shoes have the "Zoom Air" cushioning, a "little" medial support, curved last with a "spike" feel to them. Personally, I'll probably use these for 1/2 Marathon distance or shorter. The Mayfly does not have as much support (none) as these, but seem to have a little more cushioning. I would think this model would be good for a person looking for a light racing flat with a touch of medial support......but doesn't mind feeling the road a bit.

I have heard good things about the nike marathon racer, I may give them a try for my next marathon
