Of course the "obvious" area race that most people in our area point to in the Spring is the ATR, but what other races are you looking to key on this Spring?

My list looks like this:
1/16 - Panther Pride 5K 2/6 - Double Bridge 15K (possibly) 2/28 - Mardi Gras Marathon (key race) 3/27 - ATR (just because I have to)
possibly some more but I don't know yet

My race list only goes as far as the Panther Pride 5KM this weekend. I have nothing special planned for the spring as far as racing goes.

main focus now is the Rock and Roll New Orleans. ATR if possible Old Mobile 8k Looking real hard at the United States Airforce Marathon in Dayton OH in September. They do flyovers through out the race. Check it out. Looks to be a great one www.usafmarathon.com

My favorite spring race is the spring fever chase 10K in fairhope. I am also planning to do ATR and the mardi gras half in new orleans, and hopefully many of the other local races (tax season permitting).

I'm definitely bringing it back for some spring races, particularly the ATR!!! I have a lot to make up for and I'm excited!

im looking to do ATR, bc its a running law, then as many area 5ks as possible. I just have to get healthy. I think working in a hospital invites lots of sicknesses.

Daniel, be sure to get in all of the racing you can before the wedding.....because of course you know at that point you will need to obtain a permission slip to participate!

I'm finally back in a semi routine with running again, and if I can keep it up, I'm hoping to come down for either ATR or Mcguire's.

Two things: 1.) Daniel, he is right...trust me! 2.) I love how Jon's avatar pic is of my chest! I feel honored!

Foot feels much better. I will be running 5ks to gauge fitness and hopefully get faster. No matter what shape I'm in my ATR time is awful. Maybe since I work with Brent and Joe now I will get in shape.
