Wow! Looks like some SWEET times at this morning's race in Mobile......perhaps we could get Jon Bowie to give us a recap. ;D

It was great fun! By the looks of it, it seems like Bowie may dip below the 16s soon.
I know kenric had 3.16 mi on his garmin and I had 3.15. I think this was because mile 2 was off a bit; it appeared to be off when we ran the course in reverse too.

Bowie certified the course in 2008...so I guess it comes down to who is correct, Bowie or the Garmin

Nice race Jake! I wouldn't worry too much about any perceived discrepancy, a certified course always has a built in "error factor"....anytime you run a certified course (if it is done correctly, which of course Bowie does) it will be a little long.

Bowie's courses are notoriously inaccurate.

Thanks Jon. And yeah, I'd rather the course be over than under. They have an Oktoberfest 3 mile race coming up here in Baton Rouge; apparently they give out free shoes to all overall winners(top male, female, masters, etc.). I hope no-one fast shows up. By the way, catch the show down between Kebede and Wanjiru at Chicago? That was a sick sprint at the end by Wanjiru.
