Justin, I may still be having problems with my software.....but when I post a new thread it doesn't show up until I logout, then log back on. Anyone else have this problem? .......like I said, it may just be a software problem I am still having. (gotta get IT to look at my laptop on Monday!

I have no idea...when I hit post, it sends me straight to the new thread, where does it send you?

It brings me back to the new post, but when I go back to the "Team Spiridon" portion of the board...it's as if I never made the post (even though it is their).....
.......I just tried it again, and I really believe the problem is on my end, I'll hopefully get it corrected on Monday. Until then I'll just have to keep clearing my "temp files"...I believe that's where the problem lies.

That's really weird. I've even tried using Internet Explore (I usually use a browser called Firefox) and I'm still not having any problems. Too bad no one else can figure out how to get on here and let us know if they are having similar problems. Do you maybe have access to a different computer you could try it out on over the weekend?

Yeah, that's what I'll do just to isolate the problem.....I'm certain it's due to a problem on my laptop.

ok here is the deal. I want to change my password from the huge mess of consonants that it is now, to something I can actually recall. I tried under my profile and looked around in a couple other spots, but never found out how. Oh genie of the laptop. Can you grant me this wish? Lynn

The place you seek is in your profile. The first line is your login name, which you can't change, then the next two lines are blank. These lines are for you to enter then re-enter your password. After that, simply scroll to the bottom and click change profile.

Hey Justin. I went into my profile to change my time but it would not let me. I somehow managed to change my date but not my time. It offered me the military time change but not regular. I am sure I am doing something wrong. Can you help?

I am sure I am doing something wrong. Can you help? Athena: Justin had me change the time offset in my profile. Go into your profile and scroll almost all the way to the bottom of the page. There's an entry for time offset (plus or minus). I entered -1 to get the local time to show for the posts. Leif

I see. I was trying to change the time format instead. Now it is working. Thank you leif! Hey Athena, the web server has finally realized that it's standard time again. If you want the time stamps to be correct, you'll need to reset the time off-set in your profile to zero. Guess the two analytical chemists were the only two runners warped enough to be bothered by this. There's a reason analytical chemistry is appreviated "a-n-a-l chem".
